ABOUT US

Brief History Since 2008

Born from a natural interest in the routines of coffee-farming families, Mrs. Teri Endawahyuni and her husband Mr. Iwan Sahlan directly experienced the inequality faced by coffee farmers in their region. Witnessing the struggles that were not in line with the value of the coffee they produced, they felt compelled to act. Driven by compassion, they started encouraging their family to rise and prosper together through coffee.

Their first steps were in local trading, supplying coffee to roasteries in Medan and local cafes in Aceh. From these modest beginnings, they continued learning and expanding a home-based business named Jingki Roda Coffee, a microenterprise born from a big dream but humble origins. A turning point came when they joined a coffee cooperative—this was the moment that expanded the reach and impact of Jingki Roda’s efforts, from a small farm in the Gayo Highlands to broader markets, all while holding onto the spirit of farmer empowerment as their foundation.
